Jennifer Orobello is a yoga teacher, practitioner, and studio owner who is guided by her faith that, regardless of age or ability, yoga is for everybody. This belief motivated her to earn her RYT 200 and start teaching yoga in 2008 and is the cornerstone of The Family Yoga Center, which has been offering classes, trainings, and workshops to Long Island's east end communities since 2012.
Jennifer received her RYT 500 Hour certification through The Yoga Room School/Drishti Yoga and continues to expand her practice and study of Iyengar yoga at the Iyengar Institute of New York in New York City. She also works with Christine Corsa E-RYT 500, formerly of Drishti Yoga in Bayport, NY; Theresa Rowland of Studio Yoga in Madison; NJ, and Gabriel Halpern of Yoga Circle in Chicago, IL; all esteemed Iyengar yogis.
Jennifer received her Yoga Ropes certification from Alison West of Yoga Union and is a certified practitioner of Yoga for the Special Child®, LLC. Jennifer also holds a Master's of Science degree in Special Education.
Jennifer teaches yoga with compassion and love, encouraging students to come out of their comfort zone and safely reach the asanas with proper body alignment.
