Lisa has been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophies for many years. Throughout her journey, she realized the positive impact yoga and meditation had on her life and although she initially completed her 200 hour vinyasa teacher training to deepen her practice, she felt compelled to share her passion with others and began teaching Vinyasa style and restorative yoga classes. She is committed to inspiring her students to integrate the skills they learn on the mat into everyday life while enthusiastically guiding them as they increase flexibility, strength, and overall wellbeing.
Additionally Lisa is a certified elementary and special education teacher who realizes the importance of integrating yoga, meditation and mindfulness into her classroom environment. She became certified in Kids yoga and has taught yoga club and mindfulness within the school district where she works. She is a Reiki level one practitioner and received her Tuning Fork certification in Sound Healing. Her love of nature and the outdoors inspired her to earn an additional certification as a SUP yoga instructor, where she can take her practice to the water and bask in the sun. Lisa believes in consistently maintaining and improving her professional knowledge, striving for excellence through continued education and training.
