The word yoga means "union" in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit. What is commonly referred to as "yoga" can be more accurately described by the Sanskrit word asana, which refers to the practice of physical postures or poses. Yoga is a practice that combines stretching, controlled breathing, and relaxation. Yoga helps reduce stress, calm body, mind, and spirit. Yoga is one of the only approaches to health that assists in keeping your body healthy, strong, and flexible while simultaneously providing mental clarity and emotional well-being. Available to any level of experience, we combine ancient tradition with innovation. Encouraging and forward-thinking, we offer a wide variety of classes; you're sure to find one to suit your needs.  During class practice, breathe, and try your best, you’ll notice immediate benefits. Namaste.
